CAMP WOODLAND – GENERAL INFORMATION

In light of the COVID-19 situation, the following protocols will be in place to provide our children with a safe and hygienic environment during camp. Children are required to bring their Health Declaration Form on their first day and Temperature Form  every day to camp.All persons entering the campus MUST wear a surgical mask.Children will need to bring at least one spare mask in a labelled Ziplock bag or container.All persons (staff, children, caretakers) entering the campus are to have their temperature taken and recorded. Any person with a temperature over 37.5C will not be allowed to enter the campus. If a child develops a fever after arriving to school, caregivers will be informed and will have to make arrangements to pick their child up as soon as possible.Children with a temperature of 37.5C or over will not be allowed to enter the campus and should be kept home for least 48 hours after they have recovered.All surfaces, furniture, outdoor and indoor toys and equipment are cleaned daily using antibacterial solution. Anti-bacterial spray will be used frequently in class sessions.All children to clean their hands upon arrival on campus before entering the classroom.Children must not share stationery.For hygiene reasons, children must not share snacks/drinks. 
All adults on site at any Woodland campus must be easily identifiable for safeguarding reasons. Over the summer, adults will be required to wear a purple lanyard as follows: Accompanied classes:At the beginning of each class, caregivers will be given a lanyard identifying the class they are attending.  This should be worn throughout the class and handed back to the class teacher at the end of the session. Lanyards will be disinfected between sessions. Unaccompanied classes/Summer Academic Programme:Lanyards and Collection Cards will be available for pick-up at the campus on the first day of camp. For safety reasons, a Collection Card must be presented by a Permitted Caregiver when picking up a child from the campus. Your child will not be released by the teachers until they have seen the Collection Card.If you have not provided details for the Camp Woodland Collection Card, please email your campus as soon as possible. Please note that term-time Collection Cards will not be accepted. Camp t-shirts will also be distributed on the first day of camp. 
Please dress your children in comfortable clothing that may get wet or dirty during class activities. We would encourage our children to wear proper footwear for active activities. For campuses with an outdoor area, please pack sunscreen, bugs repellent, hat and a spare set of clothes for your child. Children need to bring at least one spare mask in a labelled Ziplock bag or container. Please pack a nut-free snack and a full water bottle for your child. As mentioned, children must not share snacks for hygiene reasons. Children in the Summer Academic Programme are welcome to bring their own stationery set including pencils, eraser and ruler due to current hygiene reasons. The school will also provide additional stationery. For accompanied classes, please pack a spare change of clothes and diaper as they may be needed after messy play. 
Please be punctual for the bus service as the bus will not wait for late arrivals. The bus company will not call parents who are not at the pick-up location on time. Should you have any issues, please call the campus directly. Camp Woodland will confirm pick up and drop off location and time directly by email.
