What age can I attend Woodland Pre-Schools?
Once your child reaches 6 months, they can join our Rollers programme. It is available at all 6 campuses.
What is the child teacher ratio?
Accompanied programmes – 1:10
Stepping Stones – 1:8-10
Pre-School and Academic Acceleration Programme – 1:8-10
Prep for Primary – 1:12
When should we apply?
We have a rolling admission and can enrol the child once space is available.
What are the teacher’s qualifications?
Our teachers are very knowledgeable and are expertise in the Early Childhood Education. The team brings diversity and different cultures into Woodland with care and love. All of them are native speakers in either English or Mandarin.

What is your admissions process?
Application Forms can be submitted online. The Head of School will be in touch to confirm the estimated wait list time for your child. Due to the transient nature of Hong Kong, we are sometimes able to offer places immediately. All offers are made in writing and are subject to payment of fees prior to the agreed start date.

What is the withdrawal notice period?
As per our withdrawal policy, deposit and/or tuition fees are refundable subject to the giving of either:
- 30 days of written notice prior to the last day of your child’s attendance for Rollers, Wrigglers and Playgroup;
- 60 days of written notice prior to the last date of your child’s attendance for Stepping Stones, Pre-School and Prep for Primary.
If the notice period is sufficient, the deposit will be used to offset the outstanding balance.

Do you have any affiliated primary schools?
Yes, our sister school is Stamford American School. Woodland children have guarantee spot for Pre-primary entry (subject to successful assessment) and priority enrolment for Grade 1. Application fee is waived as well.

Is it possible to apply to more than one campuses?
Yes, please submit an enquiry form and our Admissions team will be in touch with you.
Does my child have to be toilet trained to start Stepping Stones/Pre-School?
No, but please discuss your arrangement with the head of school.
Is there snack time or nap time?
We have dedicated snack time for our unaccompanied classes. We do not have nap time at school.
