Our people

Woodland pre-schools provide the highest quality international pre-school education in Hong Kong, largely because our staff are of the very highest calibre. They are the key to why Woodland pre-schools consistently achieve the highest standards, with over 95% of our students being accepted by the primary school of parental choice.

Teachers

Our teaching staff is comprised of over 100 highly qualified and motivated women, all native English speakers. Most are from the UK, though a number hail from Canada, Australia and South Africa.

Leading teachers

Each school has a leading teacher who sets the direction for the teaching team. She oversees the classroom performance of each teacher and acts as a mentor. She also maintains the academic rigour of curriculum, and monitors lessons, teacher observations and child assessments.

School supervisors

Each school has a dedicated supervisor in charge of overall administration and management. Free from teaching duties, they are the main point of contact between parents and the school, responsible for regularly updating parents on the progress and development of each child. They also communicate information about school programs, activities, events and opportunities for parents to participate.
